Winter Activities – Our winter offers snowmobiling, snowboarding, ice fishing, cross country skiing, hiking, hunting and even outhouse races in the snow! On warm winter days you can walk for miles across the lake and visit your friends. Winters vary from year to year and some have lots of snow, depending on the year. The air is dry here and for health reasons it is good for ailments such as arthritis. We have some of the best winters here as we have lots of sun compared to cloudy skies in the Okanagan, Vancouver and other parts of BC. When you are tired of playing outside, you can come in to a warm glowing fire in the Great Room, sip on a hot rum, relax and enjoy the peace, quiet and tranquility of the long day. You can also take that special time our after a long day of playing in the snow, and come home to relax in the warm cedar sauna downstairs.
